Howard Turk

Howard began his career owning and operating a high volume real estate conveyancing law firm in Canada. In 1992, he became one of the original lawyers who pioneered First American Title’s Canadian operation. Working in Business Development and Insurance Product and Design, Howard helped First American grow their business in Canada, the UK and Australia before being transferred to the US in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Head Underwriter for the Lenders Advantage Division, where his responsibilities included conception, design, implementation and management of new products and services as well as underwriting of all programs.
Howard is the author of two best selling consumer real estate advice books. He has lectured extensively on legal, real estate, investment and consumer issues and has contributed to numerous publications in Canada, the U.K. and the US.
